Imagine, what would it be like to be a superhero?
They've graced the pages of comic books, newspapers, graphic novels, TV shows, Saturday morning cartoons and movies for decades. Their images draw our attention, their stories pique our interest, and their actions inspire dreams. Some are able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, some are faster than the speed of light, and some are equipped with shields, bows, utility belts or capes. They are comprised of men, women, young, old, from this world or another. They possess two key things that set them apart: gifts and calling. And, when the moment comes and they are forced to answer the call by applying those talents, no enemy, no foe, no dastardly villain can prevail. It's an exciting thought, isn't it? The idea of individuals among us who can have such an impact on the world. The idea that someone among us can step forward to save the day when a villain attempts to carry out evil plans. What if I told you that the world is full of such people? What if I told you that they had no idea of their powers? What if I told you that you too are one too? That is what Hero is about. It’s a journey of self-discovery that reveals your own power and purpose. |
